Grehat na Maltitza (1985)

1878. The Maltitsa husband is the owner of a cafe in a mountain village. He's a courier for a secret revolutionary organization. Maltitsa helps him. She spies on the Turks in the cafe. To avoid suspicion, she flirts with the Turks. Her inhabitants despise her for this. The Maltitsa husband was killed before the Russian invasion. His notes were stolen by a traitor. The people in the village cause Maltitsa's death. Only one neighbor knows the truth about her. When she gave birth to a girl, she gave her the name Maltitsa.
