I Will Forget You (1992)

Chung-yong marries Yeong-ran, the sister of his college roommate. When his former roommate is killed fighting in Vietnam, Yeong-ran suffers a miscarriage and is left unable to bear children. Deeming her now 'useless', Chung-yong's traditional family drives her from their home which leads Chung-yong on a twenty-year search to locate his wife.
