Synecdoche, New York (2008)

A theater director, plagued by physical decay and unraveling relationships, embarks on an all-consuming project: to construct a life-size replica of New York inside a vast warehouse. His goal is to create a play of unparalleled realism, but as the boundaries between his art and life blur, his reality begins to spiral out of control. Surrounded by doppelgängers and haunted by lost connections, he becomes trapped in an ever-expanding labyrinth of his own making.
