After the Mother hears about the Man at The Door, she grabs a large kitchen knife and searches around the yard (its never used)

When the Father hears about the man who wanted The Little Girl to play, he grabs a small hand gun and goes searching around. (again, the weapon is never used.)

Part: 1 of the movie is more of a little girl's imaginary friend. All of the spirits,except for the demon, are harmless and gentle with the little girl.

Part: 2 is not so harmless. The demon shows up much more and is more frighteing. And they cause much more harm to the family.

Overall: The movie is frightening and Intense throughout.
