Filipinas (2003)

The matriarch of the Filipina family, Florencia, is not doing well, and Yolanda, the oldest child, has the unfortunate task of preventing her warring family from falling apart. As the stress increases, Yolanda runs to a nearby church for safety. She suffers serious injuries while attempting to diffuse a heated argument between her brothers, Samuel and Emman, and her family is forced to make a life-changing decision.
