The Mothman Prophecies (2002)

John Klein experiences a car accident when his wife, Mary, swerves to avoid a huge, flying figure. Although John is uninjured, Mary is diagnosed with a brain tumor and dies. Two years later, John's car inexplicably breaks down in Point Pleasant, West Virginia. A local sheriff reveals strange occurrences and sightings of a giant moth with red eyes. John delves into the mystery, encountering bizarre events and a prophetic entity.
