Theodoros Chatzifotias, a powerful cement tycoon, forbids his daughter Pepi from marrying Leandros, the love of her life. As a result, Thalia, Pepi's determined mother, encourages the star-crossed lovers to embark on a trip to Thessaloniki to seek refuge at the home of her estranged son, Koulis. But as Theodoros sends his favoured son, Dimitris, to retrieve Pepi, the eccentric sibling steps into Koulis' shoes, confusing everyone around.
