Back Door (2000)

Against the backdrop of 1966 Athens, Greece, 13-year-old Dimitris tries to find his feet, though still reeling from the death of a dear one. As the inexperienced boy tries his best to cope with the new reality, a young mentor in the shape of free-spirited Antonis ushers in a period of dramatic changes and the fascinating era of adolescence. Indeed, people, and the world around him, change, and no one, let alone Dimitris, can prepare for what the future has in store for mid-1960s Greece. Can the wide-eyed teenager survive the complications of the absurd world of the grown-ups?
