Testimonies (1975)

"Testimonies" is a cinematic chronicle of the period that begins with the uprising of the Athens Polytechnic University in November 1973 and follows the events until August 1975. The cinematographer records the significant moments and events with emotional charge and expressive power, connecting the student and other mobilisations with the anti-dictatorial struggle while presenting people and events related to political developments. This chronicle takes a look back to the past to historically illuminate the contemporary historical conjuncture. It also includes the first public appearance of the police tanks on February 7, 1975, and extensive footage of the clashes between the police and the builders on July 23 of the same year.
