Le taxi Cormier (1989)

-For the past fifty years, the Cormier taxi has been making the daily round-trip trip of about a thousand kilometres between the Acadian Peninsula in northeastern New Brunswick and the city of Montreal, Quebec (Canada). "Le Taxi Cormier" is also a film about contemporary Acadia as it is experienced on a daily basis, far from the folklore and picturesque. We find ourselves with five characters, in the middle of winter, in a van, "getting on" in Montreal. At the same time, the film shows us the everyday world of these same characters. A modern look at the wandering and unknown soul of the Acadian people.
