The Tree Woman (1999)

Tree Woman - that's what they call the young American Julia Hill, who radically changed her life on December 10, 1997, by moving onto an 80-meter-tall, thousand-year-old redwood in the forests of northern California. She lived there for 738 days to protect it from being cut down. The film shows interviews with this determined young woman, delves into her personal decisions and her life on the tree, and also includes archival footage.
