This Paramount Headliner is a compilation short with clips from five previous Headliner shorts. Isham Jones and his band leads off with a swing arrangement of the 'Second Hungarian Rhapsody"; Next comes Phil Spitalny's all-girl chorus (and orchestra---Phil the exception) doing "Dinah"; Russ Morgan breaks out his trombone and his orchestra joins him on "Wabash Blues."; Cab Calloway's group follows with the Calloway hit, "ZaZuZaz." The finale has Clyde Lucas and his orchestra playing a Lucas composition, "Congo Rhythm," that includes an interlude of three African "tribal-dancers" ranging from the jungle to the modern.
