It is 1901; we are in the Central Rhodope Mountains. There is a turbulent time of powerful passions. The plot deals with a Macedonian rebel detachment, an outlaw gang, with the genesis of an uprising and irreconcilable personal conflicts. The devise is: "Everything is begot in blood and paid in blood!"
