Witch Girl Meg (1974)

Megu is a powerful but inexperienced witch in her early teens. She is considered a candidate for the throne of the Witch World, but she is first send to planet Earth to learn about human relationships and emotions. Megu is adopted by the retired witch Mami Kanzaki, who chose to marry a mortal human several years ago. Megu's chief rival Non Go is also send to Earth, and is adopted by the retired witch Kiran Go. The two girls initially face each other in combat, but they eventually join forces against common magical foes. Meanwhile, Megu struggles with experiencing new emotions, including loneliness, compassion, grief, love, and desperation.
