Searching for Penelope (1981)

A Greek immigrant, settled for years in France, returns to his homeland by train with his French wife and son. They plan to settle permanently in his hometown, but when he arrives in Athens, they discover that his wife went missing during the trip. As one thing leads to another, the perplexed father and son learn that this mysterious incident happened somewhere between Thessaloniki and Athens. Without a second thought, they embark on a mission to find the missing mother and wife until their efforts bear fruit. What has happened to Penelope?
