To Our Teacher... With Love (1969)

In a remote and rugged part of the Greek province, a newly appointed schoolteacher arrives in a village abandoned by immigration, hoping to make a difference. However, instead of a warm welcome, the idealistic instructor faces prejudice, superstition, and the cunning schemes of an influential landowner and his ruthless son. Undeterred, the teacher is determined to inspire the fearful villagers to build a road connecting them to the outside world. But as the arrogant landholder's fierce resistance threatens his humanistic vision, the question remains: Will the professor's efforts be in vain?
