Patris, listeia, oikogeneia (1987)

Against the backdrop of ongoing economic decline, the officials of a corrupt and nearly bankrupt state have devised a paranoid plan to stay afloat: why not enlist the help of government-appointed criminals to rob banks, and save the state's crumbling economy? Strange as it may sound, the plan works; however, when three perpetually unemployed best friends find themselves in the wrong place at the wrong time, things will take an unexpected turn. Now, the police and the government are after the hapless trio. But when unlawfulness becomes an instrument in the hands of a corrupt state, can there be a future?
