Closing the Arctic Circle (2001)

The Arctic: a cold and dangerous place, where the Polar bear is king. There is another Arctic, where the main character is a bold rodent: the lemming. Every third or fourth year, the arctic tundra teems with lemmings. Two expeditions investigate how these very different animals survive this most challenging of environments.
