Ishmael Bernal's witty, sparking film portrays four college girls and their relationships: the first, Amy Austria, becomes mistress to an elderly man, Vic Silayan; the second, Chona Castillo, makes the mistake of getting into an early marriage to long-time fiancé Ronald Bergendahl: the third, Sandy Andolong, pursues shy lower-class Marco Sison; and the fourth, Rio Locsin, is forever on sexual escapades.
