Innocent Souls (1960)

Reared by his benevolent uncle, somewhere in a mountainous village of provincial Greece, the young sheepherder, Labros, is leading a peaceful and carefree life. Temporarily incapacitated because of a minor accident, Labros receives his books from Athens, and off he goes to school, along with his best friend, Wolf: an intelligent and loyal German Shepherd dog. However, fresh starts are always challenging, and Labros will have to confront a pair of bullies, and on top of that, comply with the school's rules, and leave Wolf out of the classroom. But, those two are inseparable. Will Labros risk his future for the sake of an innocent and everlasting friendship?
