Povest o pervoy lyubvi (1957)

High school students Olya Kezhun and Mitya Borodin met at a youth sports school and became friends. Olga's mother suddenly dies, she is crushed with grief. She remains in the care of her aunt, who abuses alcohol. Olga decides to leave school and go to work. Olga's friend Mitya does not want to leave the girl in trouble and brings her with the support of her father to his house. Olya comes back to life and starts attending school again.
