For several months now, an investigation has been underway into the robbery of a cashier in the village of Airport. Assistants to the head of the criminal investigation department Mironov managed to find direct traces leading to the repeat offender Panasyuk, who is serving a sentence in a colony for petty theft. But Panasyuk died of a heart attack, and his only friend Khlopov had already served his sentence, was released and... disappeared without a trace. This is one of the cases that Mironov leads and controls. But his concerns are not limited to just investigating crimes. He acutely feels his responsibility for everything that happens in the city.
