The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (2003)

Set in the Victorian era, the story focuses on an assorted group assembled by the british government to frustrate the evil plans of a villain on the rise. Among them are: Alan Quatermain, the vampiric Mina Harker, the Invisible Man, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Captain Nemo and Dorian Gray. A wonderful adventure film with Sean Connery, engaging special effects and an interesting narrative pastiche that combines characters from different literary authors.
