Big Fish (2003)

When his distant father, Arthur, falls ill, Will, a successful but emotionally distant architect, reluctantly returns to his childhood home. Arthur, a renowned artist, regales Will with the same fantastical stories that once drove them apart. But as Will endures his father's rambling and often outlandish tales, he begins to see beyond the eccentricities and rediscovers the love and admiration he once felt for this extraordinary, yet unconventional, man.
