Octopus (1998)

The main character goes insane when his wife leaves him and creates a mutant octopus 20 times the size of a regular octopus. He sets in on Tokyo and it goes on a rampage of destruction. Shirozuki, the main character, eventually feels guilty and blows him along with the monster up.
