Mi padrino (1969)

A widower stepfather prohibits his stepdaughter from following her aspiring singing career, as she is an Immediate threat to his new girlfriend's chances at winning an upcoming singing competition. After the young girl decides to leave her home, her godfather arrives and chooses to take responsibility for the girl. Through taking odd jobs and falling into silly situations he does all he can to ensure her victory.
