Something About AJ (2002)

Based on a true Australian Story, John Pope, host of the fictitious Australian TV Talk Show, "The Johnny Pope Show", and his 'straw-drawn' assistant have stumbled across an amazing story. The Assistant manages to get hold of real video footage and so begins their research to find out what happened. The story begins with an Internet Chat Room conversation between Adam Todd and his wife-to-be, Suzanne. John and his assistant uncover the beginning of the relationship, the perfect wedding and the happy expectation of their first child. But this is where the nightmare begins. Simple pregnancy becomes a major drama. The medical team does their best to complicate the process. Adam takes control of the situation, much to the chagrin of the medical staff. With the assistance of an angel-like midwife everything is again perfect until... Arriving home from the hospital Post Natal nurses start making home visits and raise concerns that the baby is not doing well. Wild stories about a child slowly withering away spread through the community. Johnny tells his audience that words cannot hope to describe what happens next. The studio falls into darkness and the real video footage taken by the real Adam Todd begins to play...
