Into a life, dull, monotonous and full of hard work for Min and Andy, cones a great ray of sunshine In the form of a telegram from Andy's Uncle Bim. The telegram states that Uncle Bim has cabled Andy five thousand dollars with which to buy a home, adding that he will arrive in few days. Andy loses no time in getting out to look over the real estate market. He gets caught in the net of a swindler who sells him a beautiful home worth at least fifty thousand. Andy is delighted with his bargain and with Min he plans a great party to celebrate the arrival of his generous Uncle. Uncle Bin arrives and does a few tricks for the guests which Andy tries to better, Andy gets himself into a mess of trouble from which he is saved by the timely ringing or the dinner gong. A great time is had by all at the dinner table until the rightful owner of the house returns from a trip abroad and demands that Andy get out. Andy is greatly worried over the loss of his fifty thousand dollars and pretends to shoot himself. The party is broken up and everyone heartbroken over the supposed loss of their dear friend. Uncle Bim says that he would give all he has if Andy were not dead. Andy hears this and sitting up calls on Min to witness what uncle has just said. The police arrive just then with the announcement that the crooked real estate agent has been lodged in jail and the money recovered. All of which leaves everybody quite happy once more.
