Except as noted, all content refers to high school juniors. In separate, dark, very brief scenes two girls have sex with a guy. There's some fondling and thrusting in one scene; breasts are visible in both.

A girl strips to take a shower in front of a teacher in a longer, well-lit scene. Breasts and butt are visible.

Breasts are visible for a while on two girls taking a bath together.

In a deleted scene, we see a girl's breasts as a guy draws art on her.

There are a couple of scenes of a guy kissing a girl. In another scene, two guys walk by holding hands. Guys and girls kiss a couple of times.

Sexual comments are heard occasionally.

Female teachers and students sometimes wear low-cut tops.

Cops beat students on several occasions: A guy is slapped to the ground; later we see his bruised face. A guy cringing on the ground is hit once with a club. A guy in custody is choked; in a deleted scene a guy in custody is punched in the groin.

A father verbally abuses his daughter several times. Another parent goes on an angry tirade of yelling and smashing of furnishings.

Minor mayhem: A father slaps his daughter; a teacher grabs a guy by the beard and pulls him out of the classroom; a girl beats a guy in the face with a towel; a guy kicks a younger student and punches a teacher. In a short deleted scene two guys punch and wrestle with each other.

One character is shown doing self-harm, burning the forearm with a lighter, and later, with a cigarette.

As English subtitled on the Centrum DVD, "F*ck" is said several times, including in the sexual sense, and there's infrequent use of other words, including "shit", "piss", "ass", "asshole", "dick", "goddamn", "bastard", etc.

Adults and students smoke cigarettes regularly.

The students are routinely served alcohol in bars and clubs without the requisite accompanying meals. Wine is imbibed socially. One woman is shown drinking vodka several times to cope with stress.

One student smokes joints several times and sings a song relating to marijuana cultivation and use. At least one student declines to partake.

An art project includes a painting of a guy smoking a joint and a marijuana leaf.

A father verbally abuses his daughter several times.

Scenes of self-harm are disturbing.

Students climb dangerously high on a tower.

A man has a stroke or heart attack.
