"Mole in the Ground" finds Phillip Roebuck , playing his one man band and banjo on the streets of New York. Throughout the day he reveals his street strategy in dealing with cops, dissects his homemade instruments and why he can't quit the streets. All this thumping and earnest singing offers a refreshing bit of backwoods presence on the conjusted corner. But look closely and watch this country boy work the crowd .
