Berlin Tango (1998)

Documentary about Tango in the German Capital City Berlin in the late 1990ies. While the city's cold heart is being rebuilt and all post-war scars are being sealed by gigantic construction efforts around Potsdamer Platz some people seem quietly sunk into a warm, passionate world of its own. Night after night they spent dancing tango Argentine in various typical Belin locations of this period. A few years later Berlin will be home of the biggest community of tango dancers outside Argentina. They all seem to be dancing around Raul, a mysterious Latino and a tango-expert of class, who had arrived in Berlin without a penny but with some tangos in mind some 25 years ago...
