Halil, the village chief, loves the headman's daughter, Elif. However, Elif's heart lies with Ömer, who is close to the master. While the Agha is in the city, the headman gives Elif to Ömer. Wedding preparations begin. Halil Agha returns from the city that day and tries to prevent the wedding.
