Oh! My Dear Desire (2003)

It is a story of necessary complexity and necessary destruction. Over the course of one week in the spring before high school graduation, three men inhabiting the same comfortably banal suburb make decisions that define the rest of their lives and the lives of those they love. They commit acts of passion, willfully opposing the mores that they've allowed to dominate their lives. Each of these men, for a crucial instant and for the first time in his existence, concedes to his drive for risk, lust, and volatility, the intrinsic human impetus that is at once the source of irrationality and creativity, spiritual devastation and rebirth."
