Drama about an abused woman and the osteopath who, in treating her physical pain, is drawn into the world of her mental torment. Ritually abused since childhood by a group of relatives and supposed friends, Ella has developed a multiple personality disorder. Her osteopath Edward witnesses the startling effect of her condition and, crucially, he also believes the harrowing story she unfolds.
