Becoming Jane (2007)

This romantic drama is based on a book that both fictionalizes and reconstructs the early life of the celebrated writer Jane Austen, focusing on a love story she experienced in her youth. Set in 18th century England, Jane creates stories that defy the conventions and expectations of the time, and when she meets Irishman Tom Lefroy she finds someone to share her passion for literature as well.
