A made-for-TV musical revue, compiled from soundies and film and TV performances by jazz greats and popular music successes from the 1930s to the 1950s, among them Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington (excerpted from 'Bundle of Blues'), Gene Krupa, The Dorsey Brothers, Peggy Lee, Cab Calloway, Artie Shaw, Sammy Davis Jr. (from 'Sweet and Low'), Red Nichols, the Mills Brothers (from 'I Ain't Got Nobody'), Bob Crosby, and Ina Rae Hutton (among many others).
