About the most outstanding poets of WWII: Krzysztof Kamil Baczynski - born in 1921, pseudonym Jan Bugaj, Tadeusz Gajcy - born in 1922, pseudonym Karol Topornicki, Zdzislaw Leon Stroinski - born in 1921, pseudonym Marek Chmura, Andrzej Trzebinski - born in 1922, pseudonym Stanislaw Lomien and Waclaw Bojarski - born in 1921, pseudonym Jan Marzec. Many of them formed the Ruch Kulturowy, published in the magazine "Sztuka i narod", whose editors-in-chief changed as the predecessors died. Members of the movement were active in the civil conspiracy - in the underground press, printing houses, and also in the military conspiracy.
