Afsana Dilwalon Ka (2001)

Devout but very naive Muslim youth Banne (Ashish Kaul) leaves his village to go to Mumbai to live with Shakeel (Vikas Anand) and his beautiful daughter Saba (Juni). Shakeel and Saba do their best to make Banne feel at home and he starts to work for Shakeel's small waste-collection business. He and Sabha slowly get attracted to each other. He is a talented singer and soon his talents are discovered by Titlibai (Himani Shivpuri), who invites him to live with her and her daughter Shahida (Rubaina Khan), who is also a singer. He is easily impressed by the attentions bestowed on him by Titlibai and by Shahida's beauty; he is told he will marry Shahida soon, leaving poor Saba heartbroken. But Titlibai has her own agenda.
