The Invasion (2007)

Carol Bennell, a psychiatrist, and her colleague Ben Driscoll are the only people aware of an epidemic that spreads after a mysterious space shuttle accident. As far as they know, the virus has an alien component that transforms whoever acquires it into an inhuman being, and the form of contagion occurs when the victims are asleep. A remake of "The Invasion of the Body Snatchers" (1956) absolutely immersive, disturbing and terrifying, with a great performance by Nicole Kidman.
