Flyboys (2006)

In the midst of World War I, a group of young Americans joins the French Air Service, forming the Lafayette Escadrille. Under the guidance of French Captain Georges Thenault and ace pilot Reed Cassidy, they face the harrowing challenges of aerial combat. Amidst battles and personal trials, including love and loss, they forge bonds of friendship and heroism, determined to make their mark in history's skies.
