Brothers (2009)

This dramatic film is a remake of Susanne Bier's "Brødre" (2004). Sam is presumed dead during a military action in Afghanistan and his brother Tommy steps in to help Sam's wife Grace and their daughters. When Sam returns home and tries to readjust to his civilian life, he resents the bond that Tommy and Grace have built up and this creates tension in the family. A story about the consequences of war for individuals and their families, acclaimed for Tobey Maguire's powerful performance.
