As Not to Fly the Smoke (1984)

Fahmy Abdel-Hadi is an outstanding rural student at the Faculty of Law. His dreams are simple and his dealings are dominated by idealism and purity. He collides with the bitter reality when he loses his mother in search of the price of her treatment while he sees his colleagues and those around him spending lavishly and mocking his poverty and even refusing to help him to treat his mother while he works to serve them. He decides to abandon idealism and take revenge on all those who failed him while he was poor.
