Letters to Juliet (2010)

Sophie is on vacation in Italy with her fiancé. On a visit to the wall of the fictional encounter between Romeo and Juliet, in Verona, she finds a letter from 1957 that captures her attention, written by 'Claire'. Sophie writes back and to her surprise, the elderly woman visits her and her grandson Charlie. The three of them set out on a quest to find Lorenzo, the old lover to whom Claire refers in the letter. A film of radiant sweetness and very romantic, with Amanda Seyfried and Vanessa Redgrave.
