Ya rodom iz detstva (1966)

An amazingly subtle, lyrical film about the childhood of those who, during the Great Patriotic War, for the first time suffered the severity of the loss of loved ones, the desire to take revenge on the enemy and the desire for happiness. The heroes of the film - the boys Igor and Zhenya - live in a front-line city and are waiting for their fathers, brothers and sisters.
