Winter in Wartime (2008)

A couple are seen in bed, apparently naked, with the man on top of the woman. A pack of "nudie" playing cards is shown.

A man is shot dead in the street and his body is dragged away. Three men are shot by a firing squad; blood is shown flowing from one man's body. Dressings are changed on a serious wound. A horse breaks a leg (the break is shown graphically); it makes sounds of suffering and is shot (offscreen). A man is shot dead (offscreen) by a teenage boy. An airplane crashes and bursts into flames. Characters exchange gunfire with soldiers.

"Bastard" (in Dutch). A few almost inaudible uses of "fuck" and "shit" (in English).

Some smoking and drinking. A teenage boy is introduced to smoking.

There is a scene in which a man skins a dead rabbit which animal lovers may find disturbing.

A child witnesses the execution of a family member. A boy falls through the ice and is shown struggling under water before being rescued.
