Truth Be Told (2002)

Jason, a young idealistic actor, leaves his girlfriend behind and moves to New York City where he fails miserably in auditions, falls in love with an actress, and has to deal with a truly psychotic roommate. All of this would be easier if the director wasn't trying to kill him.
