Sentenced to death, he has no idea what day or time he is to die. His farewell to life becomes a reality, and he lives his days anticipating a violent, forced death. Guilt, distrust and the desire for a way out torment his conscience. His fears are played out within his loveless relationship with Maria. But doesn't he have to search for the love he once felt for Maria to save them both?
