Superman II: The Richard Donner Cut (2006)

Superman, having fallen in love with Lois Lane, decides to give up his powers to be with her. Unbeknownst to him, three Kryptonian criminal, whom his father Jor-El had banished to the Phantom Zone, are freed when Superman inadvertently releases them. As they gain powers from Earth's sun, they begin their conquest of Earth. With the world in peril, Superman must find a way to restore his powers and stop the villains.
