Storyline:  Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg, a German Nazi aristocrat, fears that Hitler will destroy his country and becomes the mastermind of Operation Valkyrie, whose aim was to assassinate Hitler and overthrow him from within. Together with a group of like-minded high-ranking men, they attempt to carry out the plan. Based on true events, the film is a meticulously told and entertaining thriller with solid performances from its cast, which includes Tom Cruise, Tom Wilkinson and Terence Stamp.
