Defiance (2008)

Set in 1941 during World War II, the story follows three jewish brothers in Belarus who escape to a forest they have known since childhood and join the Russian Resistance. As jews in Eastern Europe are slaughtered by the thousands, these brothers and others who join the cause try to save countless others from living the same nightmare. A compelling and emotional war drama, with excellent performances and a captivating soundtrack. If you haven't seen it yet, don't miss it.
